2019年6月7‐10日、中国の北京大学にて、中国カント学会の創設を祝して国際コンファレンス「カント哲学と人類の未来（康德哲学与人类未来）」が開催された。加藤泰史教授は日本哲学会を代表して「発見法的使用としての『理性の公共的使用』」のタイトルで基調講演を行った。他にもガイヤー教授、 ヘッフェ教授、ウィリアムズ教授、バウム教授、ロンゲネス教授が基調講演を行った。
From June 7th to 10th, 2019, Peking University held the international conference “Kant and the Future of Humanity” in celebration of the establishment of the Chinese Kant Society. On behalf of the Philosophical Association of Japan, Prof. Yasushi Kato gave a keynote speech entitled “Kant’s Concept of ‘Public Use of Reason’ as a Heuristic Use”. Prof. Paul Geyer, Prof. Otfried Hoeffe, Prof. Howard Williams, Prof. Manfred Baum, and Prof. Beatrice Longuenesse also gave keynote speeches.
