第9回スピノザ・コネクションが、9月28日（金）に一橋大学（国立キャンパス）にて開催された。平山敬二氏（東京工芸大学）は、自然概念を軸として、ロマン主義思想家シラーとスピノザの関係について、いくつかの見解を提示した。次いで笠原賢介氏（法政大学）は、レッシングとヘルダーを中心としながらも、18世紀ドイツにおけるスピノザ像の展開を明らかにした。さらに、濱田真氏（筑波大学）と中井真之氏（上智大学）は、ともにゲーテがどのようにスピノザを受容したのかを検討した。濱田氏がヘルダーとの交流に着目したのに対して、中井氏はヤコービとの関係を取り上げた。最後に上野修氏（大阪大学）は、以上の発表がスピノザの捉えがたさを再認識させるとともに、運命論ないし宿命論として鋭く批判されたスピノザ像を乗り越えるための一つの方法として、有体論に再構成する試みをロマン主義の思想のうちに確認することが可能であるとコメントした。

In addition, Prof. Makoto Hamada (University of Tsukuba) and Prof. Sanayuki Nakai (Sophia Univ.) examined how Goethe accepted Spinoza. While the former focused on interaction with Helder, the latter took up his relationship with Jacobi. Finally, Prof. Osamu Ueno (Osaka Univ.) commented that these presentations remind us again how difficult we perceive accurately Spinoza, and as a way to overcome the Spinoza image that has been criticized sharply as the fate theory, we can confirm the attempt to reconstruct into the theory of organisms in the idea of ​​romanticism.
