第8回スピノザ・コネクションは、3月15日（金）に一橋大学（国立キャンパス）にて開催され、20名を超える参加者とともに活発な議論が行われた。津田栞里氏（一橋大学）は、バウムガルテンによるスピノザ（主義）批判の論点が内在神及び唯一実体であることを明らかにした。さらに手代木陽氏（神戸高専）は、『自然神学』でヴォルフが展開したスピノザ批判を紹介し、実体の無限性、属性の延長としての有限者、さらに宿命論という三つの論点を指摘した。 両者の発表から、当時のスピノザ理解の一端が明らかにされるとともに、デカルトとの関係まで射程を伸ばしたより包括的研究の必要性が導かれた。

On March 15, we held the 8th Spinoza Connection at Hitotsubashi Univ.. More than 20 people attended the workshop and they actively discussed. First, Ms. Shiori Tsuda（ Hitotsubashi Univ.）clarified that Baumgartens’s criticism of Spinoza（Spinozism）is about Spinoza’s concept of Pantheism and the single substance of god. Second, Prof. Yo Teshirogi（Kobe City College of Technology）introduced the criticism of Spinoza by Wolff in “Theology of Nature”, and pointed three issues, the infinity of substance, finite beings as extension of attribute, and Fatalism. These presentations made clear interpretation of Spinoza in 17C, and told us necessity for more comprehensive research, reaching Descartes.
