Undergraduate seminar
We generally read classic philosophical works which correspond to the students’ interests. Every year in summer, an intensive study camp is jointly organized with seminars from other universities.
Graduate seminar
The graduate seminar is conducted in continuity with the reading course Classics of Social Philosophy. The texts covered so far were Critique of Judgement, Critique of Pure Reason, The Human Condition and others. In the seminar, we read more recently published articles and treatises in the field of ethics and philosophy, and students give presentations about their own research. From time to time, we also invite philosophers from abroad as guest speakers; up to now, Professor Kettner from Germany and Professor Neller from the United States have come to visit us.
